Do I need to book an appointment, or can I just walk in?
You’re welcome to walk in anytime during business hours — or book ahead if you prefer. Either way, we’ll sort you out.
How long does a typical tool service take?
Most standard services are turned around within 1–3 working days. If parts are needed or the job’s more complex, we’ll let you know upfront. Urgent repairs? We do our best to prioritise them.
Do you service tools bought elsewhere — like Bunnings or Trade Me?
Yes. New or second-hand, if it’s broken, we’ll look at it.
Can you do same-day or urgent repairs?
If it’s doable and we’ve got the parts — yes, we’ll prioritise it. Give us a call first to check timing.
Is there a deposit required for hiring tools?
No bond needed. We just ask that the tools come back in good nick — fair use is expected, but if something’s damaged due to misuse, there may be a charge.
Can I book a tool hire in advance?
Yes — you can reserve a specific tool for a future job. Handy if you’ve got a project starting on a set date.
Can I send my tools in by courier?
Yes, we work with customers from all over NZ. Send your tools in for repair, and we’ll courier them back when they’re ready. Just contact us first so we can walk you through how it works.
